Pay by scan

Paid with one scan.

Your customer should be able to pay your invoice without typing in an IBAN and an amount. To make that happen, the two add-ons on this page append a payment page with a QR code to the PDF that Gravity PDF creates from a Gravity Forms entry. Your customer scans the code with a banking app, and the payment details are already filled in. Transposed digits and searching for the right account no longer happen.

The EPC QR code is meant for SEPA credit transfers in euros. The Swiss QR-bill is the complete Swiss QR invoice with a payment part and a receipt. Both add-ons are paid products.

How the QR code gets onto the invoice: submit the form, create the PDF, append the payment page, pay by scan.

EPC QR code

EPC-QR for Gravity PDF appends a payment page with an EPC QR code. That is the QR code for SEPA credit transfers that banking apps across Europe can read. It contains the payee, IBAN, BIC, amount and remittance information. A table on the payment page shows the same values, so customers without a banking app can make the payment too.

Swiss QR-bill

Swiss QR-Bill for Gravity PDF appends a complete Swiss QR-bill, with the payment part and the receipt in the prescribed dimensions. It already follows version 2.4 of the guidelines for the Swiss QR-bill, which apply from November 14, 2026. Your customer scans it with a banking app, or detaches it and pays at the bank counter.

More tools for e-invoicing.

On invoicePress.de you will find more tools for e-invoices, that is, invoices as a structured file that a program can read: viewers that display an e-invoice in readable form, validators that check whether an e-invoice follows the rules, and a REST API that lets your own programs use these functions. The viewer is free on wordpress.org.
