For Gravity Forms and Gravity PDF

Your form becomes an e-invoice.

Do you sell through Gravity Forms, collect membership fees or donations, or bill for services? With the invoicePress extensions, every submitted form becomes an e-invoice: an invoice as a structured file that your customer’s software can read. It is created as an XRechnung, as ZUGFeRD/Factur-X or in the Peppol format, and with an add-on for Gravity PDF the invoice carries a QR code your customer can scan to pay.

Both e-invoice generators are paid products, available in the invoicePress.de shop. They are joined by form fields that validate your customers’ bank details and company identifiers as soon as the form is submitted, and that calculate tax amounts on their own. Every extension comes with a manual and, where possible, a demo you can try.

1 · Form
your customer fills it in with Gravity Forms
2 · Invoice
the PDF is created from the entry
3 · E-invoice and QR code
readable by software, paid by scan
How a form entry becomes an e-invoice: fill in the form, create the invoice, output the e-invoice and, if you like, a QR code.

Create e-invoices

Two plugins lead to an e-invoice under EN 16931, the European standard that defines which details an e-invoice contains. eInvoice Generator for Gravity Forms creates the invoice PDF and the e-invoice directly from the entry and does not need Gravity PDF. eInvoice Generator for Gravity PDF adds the e-invoice data to the PDF that Gravity PDF already creates for you, so your familiar template stays as it is.

QR codes for Gravity PDF

Two add-ons append a payment page to the Gravity PDF document. The EPC QR code is meant for SEPA credit transfers in euros: your customer scans it with a banking app, and the payee, IBAN, amount and remittance information are already filled in. The Swiss QR-bill is the complete Swiss payment slip with a QR code, made up of a payment part and a receipt. Both add-ons are paid products.

Form fields

Three field collections prepare your form for the e-invoice. The EN16931 fields offer the code lists of the standard as ready-made choices. A code list is a defined list of allowed values, for example the currency codes. The SEPA fields validate IBAN, BIC and creditor reference when the form is submitted, and the tax fields calculate net, tax and gross on their own.

Identifier fields

Sixteen fields for tax and register numbers, from the EU VAT identification number through the French SIRET and the worldwide LEI to the Japanese Corporate Number. Each field checks the number against the rules of its country when the form is submitted, and some can also ask the responsible register. That way a typo shows up in the form and not on the invoice.

More tools for e-invoicing.

On invoicePress.de you will find more tools for e-invoices: viewers that display an e-invoice in readable form, validators that check whether an e-invoice follows the rules, and a REST API that lets your own programs use these functions. The viewer is free on wordpress.org.
